An unnamed KCMO company is looking to receive EEZ tax credits to move to either 12 Wyandotte Plaza or Crown Center...

See link for more details

I'm assuming these things operate with code names - this one is called 'Project Park - as I've never heard of a company with that name.

These are the details we know about this company based on the docuemnts:
Based in KCMO
319 employees
Expects to grow to 1000 employees
Founded in 2010
Inside sales and marketing company
88% yearly employment growth
Looking for 130,000 sqft

Any ideas on who this could be?

My bet would be Spring Venture Group based on the description. Moved to 2301 McGee a few years back.

Well United Excel is still moving their headquarters from Merriam to KCMO, but they are now going to south KC at 435 and Holmes instead of the Crossroads. <sad horn sound>

I talked to someone there that said the space was modeled after their London office and that they hope this will get more foreign associates to visit and work in the space. Apparently, the space in OP always bummed traveling workers out.

Maybe this will start a new trend in getting foreign owned companies with Regional offices in Suburban KC to start moving downtown, it could be a good marketing plan for KC

WSP (Parsons Brinkerhof) an engineering company based in Montreal recently opened a new office downtown but i don't know if its replacing the Lenexa office or if its just an additional metro area office

I'm kind of suprised Bats (now CBOE) never moved downtown, i know the traveling workers were always bummed out about going to that Lenexa office along I-35

National Firms like Apple, Microsoft, Piper Jaffrey, etc would also be good candidates to move downtown from the suburbs.

^Most cities have a suburban tech corridor like Corporate Woods/I435 stretch for national branch tech offices but given downtown office space is actually cheaper than that part of JoCo, you'd think more would move downtown.

From other thread...

Smart pet collar company from SF Bay Area moving to KC, aiming for 200 jobs..
https://www.kctv5.com/news/tech-company ... 6ca7d.html
“It’s such a cool city with a thriving downtown and some nightlife,” Tamayo said. “It's also much cheaper, since we're coming from San Francisco.”
KC's Animal Health corridor apparently an attraction. Starting out with a downtown Plexpod location while searching permanent office space...

And another...

Its replacing the Lenexa office. All employees from that office moved to the River Market office

I know this is off topic but its crazy that Minneapolis has 18 Fortune 500 in its metro good for 5th best - It has more Fortune 500 in its Metro than LA and Miami combined.
I really think Minneapolis has one of the most well rounded/healthiest economies in the US/World and it really flies under the radar.
They also have a good balance of company HQ's located downtown and in its burbs.

Twin Cities also has the largest private company in the US which is Cargill and it would rank #15 in the fortune 500 list

Waddell & Reed to consolidate their offices into a single building in Missouri. This could be a huge win for downtown.

If I were to put odds on it I would put it at
2 to 1 - South KC/Ward Parkway
1 to 2 - Plaza
1 to 4 Downtown
1 to 5 - Briarcliff
