Downtown and Tactical Urbanism

so I was in Charlotte and Charleston this past week.

Charlotte has the trees. It was wonderful. Walking down a street with near constant shade. They have one recycle can per trash can downtown. There's very little they did that KC can't do.

Charleston has a great model for public restrooms. They put them in (some of?) their municipal parking garages. That's a smart plan. They were horribly hot but if you need a restroom now that's the perfect place to find one.
