I have to admit, I do like what they've done with the 'pocket park' and recessed entry behind the streetcar stop. Also like the balconies and the activity inside that will be visible after dusk. Maybe it'll be a good with the other buildings on that corner?

Yeah the garage entrance is bothersome.

With the larger building fully leased so quickly, you’d think they’d be interested in adding more space.

Yeah, is disappointing that such a small building would be planned along streetcar line. I could see these 'prefab looking' buildings dispersed around Xroads but the streetcar line deserves more substantial developments. Though more important is the pedestrian integration and the 'car park' entrance should not be along Main.

The streetcar expansion to Paseo Bridge can't come fast enough. The City could build public P&R garages at Paseo Bridge (near Grand rail overpass as well) and lease parking spots to downtown buildings, allowing for larger developments with smaller/no garage along streetcar line. Minneapolis has large (city-owned?) public garages at downtown perimeter, then use light rail or Nicolette Ave free bus from there. Reduces car traffic in downtown center as well.

Academy Bank will move into the street-level space in Corrigan Station; construction starts in February.
Construction is scheduled to begin in February on a second-phase office addition to Corrigan Station, a $50 million-plus project anchored by the redeveloped 10-story Corrigan Building, a historic structure at 1829 Walnut St. in Kansas City.

Located at the corner of 19th and Main streets in the Crossroads Arts District, the new three-story, 22,910-square-foot addition is scheduled to be completed this fall. It will be anchored by Academy Bank, which has agreed to lease about 5,000 square feet on the ground floor for a new full-service banking center.

yeah, it sucks. the architecture is nice, despite only being a few stories. when branch banking disintegrates, it will make a great retail shop that will actually generate sales tax revenue for the TDD.

The barista at the roasterie in the main corrigan station building is reporting that the parking lot is going to get torn up in the next few days and construction will begin. They have already boarded up their patio area.
