What do you mean? Did something go wrong?
Everything is covered in a blanket of snow.

Yeah, I was just referring to the beautiful-looking weather which was replaced by a haze of frozen precipitation this morning.

It looks like the covered walkway along main has been removed as that portion of the structure was topped off. I’m surprised as they have yet to finish the facade and glazing installations.

I walked by the Walnut side on Friday. It’s extremely impressive in person.

I can't wait till they start building the streetcar to the plaza, and we start seeing stuff like this going up all over main street in midtown

(That leasing center is disgusting.). The non-hotel Main Street-facing side of the project is pretty far along. it looks like it will be ready by spring or summer for sure. This project remains one of my favorite.

As this grows, it becomes more and more transformational to the area around it.

Windows have gone in on phase 1. It doesn’t look like much progress has been made inside other than wall framing with some OSB. A second elevator shaft appears to be rising behind the Midwest Hotel. This one looked to be poured concrete and not CMU like the northern one.

The former Midwest Hotel facade is so simple yet elegant, and it looks so much better now that it's been cleaned up.

There were two permits today for projecting signs at this location for a 'DG X' store. One of the permits is for a 4ft double-sided blade sign, and the other is for a 13' wall sign.

They are putting these in 'hip' urban neighborhoods around country so not surprising they chose Xroads. But I wonder if the prices are as thrifty friendly.

never been in one but seems like a nice amenity for the neighborhood. I'm more excited about the corner restaurant.

Don't be so quick to jump on the bandwagon. Dollar General stores are often terrible for neighborhoods.
