It has to be next winter. A bit deceiving without the year though

As soon as the rest of that decking gets put down, this thing is really going to take off. Loving what it's already done for the block!

Looked like just about every project had work going on.

They have five months to make that. Winter ends March 18. It's not a given for sure, but if they can get the common basics done could absolutely have some units finished that early and open up move-in in stages

I emailed their leasing line asking them if they meant this year's winter or next year's, and they said this winter as in February 2020 is when they plan to start move ins.

4.5 months feels (very) aggressive. To be fair, it does look like the original structure and first street building have MEP completed and interior walls half way done.

🤞A City Club 2 is in the works

Hopefully they don't take short cuts to hit the date. Do it right if it means taking longer.

I'm visiting their pre-leasing office on Thursday to see what they'll have available for next summer, so I'll see what can be found out.

Glad to hear about a "City Club 2" also! Hopefully it'll come together and have more affordable options because the leasing agent I reached out to said this project's "HUD affordable options" start at "$1045"...and that's for a studio with a Murphy Bed.

I think normalthings is only saying he’s hoping for a city club 2. Notice the crossed fingers in their message

This is such an amazing development. I wonder if their second project will be part of the possible development over on the west side of Grand where they have the same issue of empty lots + historic structures.

It would make sense to develop an adjacent block since tenants could share amenities and administrative office.

Winter 2020 looks totally doable for parts of the project. They are working weekends and are largely on interior spaces now. It’s a tight timeline but totally doable.
