Is that some kind of fake vegetation on the lower wall?

DGX is not that far along. I don't know if it will make the July 6th opening
Re: OFFICIAL - City Club Apartments (former Midwest Hotel)
I would estimate mid to late July, favoring the latter.
They're still aiming to start move ins before August for residents.

Is the pre-existing building on the far right going to be apartments? I seem to remember a lower rise steel structure behind the older builder that was under construction when I was in town last, wonder what they had in mind for that? This place is impressive in terms of size, you don't get that sense of scale from the Main street side.

The Midwest Hotel has the lobby and amenity spaces. The small steel building is amenity space and rooftop commercial space.Highlander wrote: ↑Wed Jun 24, 2020 1:24 am Is the pre-existing building on the far right going to be apartments? I thought the corner first floor was a restaurant?

What did the window do to anyone? Besides that, it's looking good

From what I've heard, move ins have begun!
My scheduled move in date is a bit later. But I'll be able to start sharing interior pictures.

Have they given a new date for the first move-ins?

Not a fan of taking away the sidewalk in that one pic for no real reason.
Re: OFFICIAL - City Club Apartments (former Midwest Hotel)
I'm one of the first and I've been given a rough estimate of August 15th to 30th with hope that they can move it up.CrossroadsUrbanApts wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 12:46 pm Have they given a new date for the first move-ins?
I had signed my lease and everything and they cancelled the date.
I'm on the third floor. I think they're going to do staged move ins so maybe others will start before.

Main entrance. It’s so that Uber/DoorDash can do drop offs without impeding the streetcar. I often see the drivers do a quick park job and sit over the line blocking the streetcar.KCPowercat wrote: ↑Thu Jul 23, 2020 2:49 pm Not a fan of taking away the sidewalk in that one pic for no real reason.

I don't consider "can't park well" a legit reason to take sidewalk space.
