IRC Channel

I think an IRC channel would be a great place for the folks on the website to talk about our topics and possibly arrange screwy little meetings. Would anyone be interested in that?

definately. IRC is very light on the internet resources too, making it an easy thing to have. KC could even add a java based chat applet that connects to the irc server in case someone doesnt have IRC software available. Problem is will anyone ever come there? I would.

IRC java could easily replace the shoutbox above......I'll look for some code unless somebody already has one they like they could send me.

I'm something of a computer dolt, but how would this work. It seem like it could really cool. Can't you share files and such on an IRC?
