Music video for Ssion's song 'Inherit' features at least a few scenes filmed in KC (they used to live here)
The opening scene is at Royal Liquors on SW Blvd. There's a quick scene or two on Grand (you can see the 47 bus), and I think the cemetary scenes are Union Hill.

Queer Eye liked KC, doing another season here...
https://www.kansascity.com/entertainmen ... 84163.html
In season 3, the Fab Five visited the Jones sisters in Kansas City, Kansas. After the episode aired, their Jones Bar-B-Q business on Kaw Street gained tens of thousands of Instagram followers and sold thousands of bottles of their father’s legacy sauce.
Kinda preferred the shack look but hopefully it's what they wanted.

Have scanned through a few episodes. Looks like they base mostly out of Xroads and River Market.

Don't understand why this is being made into something like 'they're filming another season here.' They filmed all episodes at the same time, just split half between seasons 3 and 4. Wonder if they got incentives for two seasons or just one?

Also, if anyone has watched any of Season 3, they have their 'base' in the Firestone building, but the cast members actually stayed in Two Light.

Ah, didn't catch that both seasons were filmed at same time.

A couple overhead shots of downtown KC and beyond in the new Netflix movie American Hangman. Also accompanied by several other shots of Not Kansas City to represent whatever fictional city the movie is supposed to take place in. They seem to go out of their way to keep location references very generic.

CBS this morning had a good segment on KC, it was supposed to compare the 2 super bowl cities but it was really focused on KC.

There is a strong strong possibility the show The World According to Jeff Goldblum is going to an episode at the Toy and Miniature Musuem this fall, main focus will be on Miniatures and talk with local artist Bill Robertson

Watching Jimmy O Yang’s (Jin Yang in Silicon Valley) standup on Amazon. Does a bit ripping on KC “not being racist but act like a pack of giraffes ran by” when they see an Asian.

Pretty routine comedy based off Chinese stereotype jokes

I guess they are filming a lifetime reality show pilot downtown this week. The show might not air but there should be some good shots of downtown since they are staying at Hampton Inn Crossroads. The reality show is about getting married by proxy and I guess ks or mo is one of few places that allows this.

Only know about this because the lady getting married dropped her dog off with us to watch while they are filming/getting married

KC connection in the new "Unsolved Mysteries" on Netflix: unsolved murder of a 20-something Gardner man, in small town La Cygne, KS. Racial implications, fairly interesting case involving a rural farm party. No images of the city proper but KC sports gear does make appearances.

https://superprimefilms.com was filming in KC throughout late summer and fall of 2019. The LA based firm employees an impressive but short list of directors including Martin Scorsee with clients including Google, Nike, Apple, Gucci, Louis Vuiton, Oakly, SNL, and Bai. It appears that this firm has worked on multiple Super Bowl commercials. Certainly a very high end production company. Anyone know why they were here?

- Kauffman PAC (16th Street from Broadway Boulevard and Wyandotte Street)
- Southwest Blvd Between Wyandotte Street and Baltimore Avenue
- Oak Street between E 44th Street and 43rd Street

Part of it may be this commercial for Toyota. It has some of those locations featured. Just don't try to figure out the routing their GPS sent them on.

Random freeway, probably computer generated
Kauffman Center
street scene too hard to identify
random neighborhood on state line road SB around Mission Hills (in the GPS)
10th and Main, WB on 10th
unidentifiable street
the museum
back to 10th and Main, turning left onto Baltimore
kauffman stadium
then the final stadium might not be fake, but it's not a MLB stadium. Maybe a college team somewhere

It's the future downtown stadium with a sea of parking
