Re: Do you have or plan to get Google Fiber?

Thanks, that's interesting. 300 would have worked, but unfortunately the next step down from gigabit is 100M and it's $60 so I'll probably just try the gigabit and see how it does. They're changing the name away from "Gigapower". Probably because of the bad press they got in regards to pri...

Re: Do you have or plan to get Google Fiber?

I'm moving into the Cityplace apartments next week in OP which has somewhere around 300 units. The main building has 205, and then there are 4 smaller buildings which will be done shortly. They thought Google Fiber would be ready, but they aren't, so now AT&T is going to get almost all of the re...

Re: OFFICIAL - Hyatt Regency Convention Hotel

Well, that design is poop, but it could be somewhat saved if they used the right materials, glass, and lighting. This has probably been mentioned, but I like what Cooper Carry did with the Hyatt in Baltimore even without a super exciting design. http://dnpt4lt4gxlt9.cloudfront.net/uploads/2015/08/02...

Re: Union Station

Why is it $8 to park at Union Station now? At one point it was $8 and they had a guy taking cash. This last Saturday there was a ticket system and it was $5. We were there at least 4 hours so I'm assuming that was the max. I like the lower cost, but there were huge backups of cars trying to get out...

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand

For people that aren't in KC, or haven't been down to PnL lately, I'd just like to say that in my opinion the difference is going to be incredible. I can't even imagine if we get to four or five light. I loved seeing One Light go up and it did a lot to freshen up downtown, but it never felt like a h...

I know a similar pic was uploaded a few days ago, but I doubt you guys mind. The scale of the building is really impressive.

AMC adding 125 jobs to Park Place. They're leasing 36,315 sq. ft. in a building adjacent to their headquarters for the expansion. http://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/news/2017/02/13/amc-headquarters-expansion.html?ana=e_kan_bn&u=%2BB9yimkCGev1d02KXmZ7pA07180809&t=1487027265&j=77378021

This is the website for the main building that's just about to open. http://www.theroyaleatcityplace.com/ We're planning to move in in March since our side of the building won't be ready when they initially open. It's basically just a nice apartment complex with amenities similar to what you'd see w...

Re: Million plus Square Foot Dist Center in KCK

I saw an article that said some business sold 24,000 hammocks on prime day most likely at a loss. I can't believe that many people are buying hammocks. The real winners when it comes to Amazon shopping are the ones who garage sale because I guarantee that hammock will be at plenty of garage sales i...
