Re Walnut Street through the City Market: the plan as I understand it is to reopen Walnut weekdays and keep the "market square" closed to cars weekends, as it is now. I don't see a problem as long as it's still an open market on the weekends. Plus there is already practically a foot print...

IMO Save the church and turn it into a multi use building. Build the new structure on another empty lot. I'm always for any development we can get, but this seems unnecessary. If we didn't have a ton of empty lots then this would be a completely different conversation.
