Re: 5-year projection of home values

I'm confused about these guesstimates.  Why are they projecting Cleveland and Detroit to have increases?  Both metro's are going through a horrendous epidemic of foreclosures and are both bleeding well paying jobs.

The same company that is proposing to turn Metro North into the Streets at Barry Towne is going to build the Streets at Shoal Creek.  The 800k shopping center, much like Zona Rosa will go in at 152 and Shoal Creek Parkway. Grid you gotta be sh*tting me.  Do you have any additional info on this?  Th...

My takes. This whole conversation is petty.  I've yet to meet someone up this way who even wants to discuss Joco let alone be like them.  Since I frequent out south about twice a week the usual Joco person that I run into when I tell them I live in KC North totally pulls the "Oh so you live in ...

How on earth is I-35 north of the river just getting to the engineering phase for widening?  It should be at least 8-12 lanes by now from the I-35/I-29 split all the way to Liberty.

For every 100 new brokers in the field, Weddle said, the company will need 40 or 45 support staff. Not all of those will be here in St. Loui...

Everytime I read an article like this it reminds me of my friend in LA.  He works for a transportation planning firm and started in 2001.  Back then he made around 65k/year and wanted a loft in downtown LA but couldn't afford the 250k price.  So he figured he'd wait a few years when he made more mon...
