Re: West Plaza
... That Fork in the road on Westport Rd replaced That intersection was studied by HDR in 2010 or 2011. IIRC the impediment was that any solution involved the strip mall losing a chunk of its parking lot. If you search around I’m sure this is discussed somewhere on this site. I'll check it out. Not...

Re: Next Mayor 2019
If you voted against Jolie Justus because you thought she was a Sly James clone or puppet, you voted based on a very false premise. I can understand voting for either of the 2 candidates, but not against either one. She was an establishment stooge dude. I'd be interested in hearing more about your ...

Re: Next Mayor 2019
Uniting the East side with the republicans was quite a feat. I guess the lesson is to be the 2nd most progressive candidate on the ballot? Impressive indeed. It's almost like Lucas acknowledged there was more to KC than just throwing money around downtown. Justus just sounded like a robot repeating...

...Lucas won't have much of a honeymoon period. My expectations are high, based on the rhetoric in the campaign. Mine too and he's only 34. Deliver on some of this stuff he very well could be a star for higher office but first things first. Also they were talking about the new administration hopes ...

Re: 2019 Mayor/Council Elections
Have heard from a pretty solid source that Troy Schulte is on his way out now. Even better. For all of the chatter of the two candidates not being much different this is a pretty big difference. Whats the primary issue with Schulte? from what i've seen hes not bad in his position. It appears Lucas ...

Nick Haines was on 710 today made it sound like Troy wouldn't be back and Lucas won't have much of a honeymoon period.

Excited for Big Biscuit to open next door. that imos in westport was terrible, unless they turned it around. although, at least 1/2 of imos locations are pretty bad...the corporate QA/QC re: ingredients and prep are non-exi...

Re: Next Mayor 2019
Congrats to Lucas. I'm genuinely curious how his supporters will define a successful term in office. The few people I've asked have talked about "fixing affordable housing". (Prediction: I suspect he'll be mayor until the nanosecond after Cleaver announces his retirement.) I suspect the e...
