Re: Downtown Buildings with Activity

Question: What is the building immediately north of The Green Lady Lounge and what is going on with it? Some of the windows were boarded up when I went by is the other day. Thanks for any info and sorry if this has already been answered!

Re: Hawthorne Plaza

I might be biased as I drive by this building everyday, but it has to be my favorite project in the city right now. I've looked at this building for years and thought how beautiful and sad it was to see it underused and now with all of the action that is taking place it makes my heart happy!

Re: Hawthorne Plaza

Speaking of H&R Block, did they vacate the space on 39th and Main next to the Hawthorne? Someone might have already stated this, so apologies if that is the case.

Re: OFFICIAL - Strata (H&R Block's 2nd Tower)

Is Strata a "for sure go" or is it still going through all the red-tape? I also wish 1034 were coming to fruition, but that building and the subsequent renderings have been around forever.

I was skeptical about the design of this building, but after seeing it come together, I think it's a great addition!

Why do people see Cerner as some magical unicorn that will put up some mythical and monumental tower downtown...?!?

Re: Bannister Mall/Cerner

They’re building and going vertical w/ that pavilion thing between the taller buildings. Been kind of cool to watch from my school the past few months. Anyone read and can summarize where the new larger than life subdivision is being developed as per the article in KCBJ? I can’t imagine it’s in the ...
