I'm going to run after the Funk's second term.  Headline: Funk endorses Fang, and Fang Follows Funk.
I'll follow Fang but I can't follow Fang's Funk.

When you consider how much larger the two markets ahead of us are that's extremely impressive.

Re: Did you VOTE Today?

I voted at around 5 PM and I was sort of shocked at how low turnout was.  The fewest people I've ever seen at the polling place I go to.  Couldn't really get a feel for who others around me might have voted for but I did see that the Funkhouser folks have been real busy planting signage in the area....

Re: OFFICIAL: Tuilleries Plaza

So, I wasn't really saying that it was going to be a really nice shopping destination.  I just wanted to point out when developers are saying things such as "Rome wasn't built in a day" and other hubris, that people will expect more than Taco Bell (though it is hard to turn down food for ...

What happened to the ignore feature?

I tried to find this so I could use it but it's nowhere to be found.  For the first time I find somebody worthy of being "zapped into oblivion" and the feature seems to be gone.  :x

I would say that this article would be saying that the place is going to be more than the place where you can get Taco Bell:  http://www.kinghershey.com/newsDetail.asp?articleID=41 Text: Joyce Smith Article Source: The Kansas City Star Full Text: Completion isn't expected until 2008 because the dev...

I dont' know who pissed in your Cheerios, and I don't really care however I'm not saying you flip flopped on anything. I'm saying our views always evolve from the original. Nothing more. Mine also. Remember my stand on Zona Rosa? And YOU or anyone else cannot get many of the things you find at Tivo...

Re: Who is the development PIG Funkhouser refers to???

I have been reading this board anonymously for a couple of years now. I enjoy the posts. I just wanted to make a quick comment about TIF money. The term "blighted" does not mean the same thing in general usage as it does in TIF language. Blighted land may be undervdeveloped land, land tha...

Re: OFFICIAL: Tuilleries Plaza

The point here is that Tuileries was started BEFORE both Zona and Briarcliff and should have been finished before that as well. In the beginning, I had Tuileries pictured as similar to Hawthorne Plaza. And it hasnt' turned out that way. I remember all the income studies, etc in the paper and why th...

Re: OFFICIAL: Tuilleries Plaza

I'd have to disagree, I think Piropos is about as upscale as you can get....and I think there reservation zip codes would agree, when they were in dwtn parkville...70% JOCO people. Upscale has a different meaning to different people...I would say Changs is not upscale based off of price, but is ver...

Re: OFFICIAL: Tuilleries Plaza

We kind of change our minds all along the way. Where do you see me changing my mind?  That's a completely different subject.  Point out to me anywhere that I said Tuileries was supposed to be an upscale shopping center.  You can't because it's not there.  Get out your reading glasses next time.  I ...

Re: OFFICIAL: Tuilleries Plaza

Tivol is the type of tenant retail centers want because it attracts a certain demographic. No one cares what you can/can't afford-- that's not the point. The Tivol shopper is someone who also may fancy a meal at Piropos or shopping at Green Acres. Of course Briarcliff isn't on the level of the Plaz...

Re: Chiefs

Looks like they are really trying to make a lot of room in the cap for something.  I don't think they are worried much about what kind of a trade they get for Green at this point.  Just trying to unload his salary onto someone else.  Hope he gets a killer contract from Miami.  I'll miss Trent and wi...
