Re: KCMO Downtown Streetcar

With the ratings on the next rail study, which east/west route is the primary route to be implemented following the completion of the Main St extension?

Re: New goals for Kansas City

What are the continued goals that we as a city should achieve by the close of the next decade? Not only on a development basis, or transit, but on a cultural and societal level as well.

Even better.

For all of the chatter of the two candidates not being much different this is a pretty big difference.
Whats the primary issue with Schulte? from what i've seen hes not bad in his position.

Re: Three Light

What is the likelihood that this project generates enough interest in the highway cap project? Would they provide any private funding to it?

Re: Capping the Loop

Missouri doesn't allow commercial uses on (or above) their property, or at least that's what the city and consultants (HNTB) found when looking to add tax-generating uses on top of 670. In addition, adding buildings added weight (and, thus, cost) to the structures Is there any way we could change t...

Re: Capping the Loop

And imo, it would actually improve the project overall. Linear parks form barriers, and breaking up the park space with some retail would tie the two neighborhoods together much more seamlessly and encourage more pedestrian flow. The park space is already divided up by the roads, and that limits th...

Does anyone know if there is any firm plan to implement some type of rail transport along the corridor, or was that simply visualizations for the reveal of the original project?
