Re: Random Pictures of Kansas City
Schugg, I haven't had much time to really explore KC, but I love the buildings. Where are the first three pictures located? They remind me of the giant brick buildings I use to always see in Chicago!

Re: JE Dunn Headquarters
Its also probably pretty hard to have mobile cranes in a crowded job site like the JE Dunn site. Some areas would be next to impossible to come from the side with a crane instead of just having the stationary crane they are piecing together right now.

Just found this blog on Raglan Road's website. Can't remember seeing it on the website earlier! Looks to be a very nice bar.

The one by my old house use to be open 24 hours, not sure if it changes location to location or not.NDTeve wrote: are they open 24 hours/day? If so, that place will be a mob scene late night.

Maitre D's P&L Experience thread (from Offical thread)
It's my fault now, that the P&L isn't opened on time? I merely pointed out that it should've opened with the Arena, and you can disagree if you wish. They didn't open with the arena though, and we can't do anything about that. Should haves and could haves can be tossed around, but it really ge...

Re: Big XII Basketball
I just can't imagine going through life with such a massive martyr complex. Why pay all of that money on season tickets if every game you are going to spend two hours experiencing some sort of collective torture? If you honestly believe that every officiating crew in the league is involved in a c...

Re: New Development: City Market Townhomes in Columbus Park
Fang, I love all the pictures you find! I'd love to see something like the McCormick Rowhouses (in Lincoln Park, Chicago). Don't expect to see something so old fashioned in Columbus Park, but I'd love if something like that was built!

Re: GSA considers big office complex downtown
A friend of mine from out-of-town saw the DELoft web site and wanted to know about the River Market area as far as buying a loft there. Noise level, management, etc. Does anyone have information about that property? Also, he saw a few units still available in Wall Street. I never hear much abou...

Re: Official: KCMO Light Rail
Wait for what? What are we waiting for? For Kansas to join in even though they show zero signs of imminent progress? Wait for the costs to skyrocket? Wait for other cities to eat up the federal money for another ten years? Wait till every other town is building their second, third and fourth phas...
