Re: Parlor - 1707 Locust
i was there too! looked at the new place's menu but knew the whole time i was just going to get karbon so immediately forgot what i read. the logo/design language of the new place strongly reminded me of what gets churned out for that food truck race thing on food network, so i guess that's nice and...

Re: Bird Scooters Have Landed
i told you it was a hazy recollection! did a quick google, found a 11/28/18 star article that said it was a shields proposal that lucas/canady/loar voted for and wagner/fowler voted against. i would link to it, but it's the star and i don't like giving them clicks.

Re: Bird Scooters Have Landed

Re: OFFICIAL - McCown Gordon HQ
i'll still bitch about it being underwhelming for being right next to a streetcar stop, but at this point that's mostly because i like bitching. this looks like a much, much better version of the corrigan out building with more pedestrian friendly ground floor and more interesting structure overall.

i walked by it a couple times this weekend. the streetcar is not as hidden as those pictures make it seem (no shots fired at the photographer, of course). it's completely fine.

Re: City Center Square for sale
some completely random comment on reddit the other day said the people behind parlor would be picking and managing the new tenants for city center square. not sure what this does for target rumors, or whether it's worth any more than i paid for it.
