http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/05/25/MNGI1J27K511.DTL If you look off to the side of the tower, there are like 10 proposed buildings. I like those building in the skyline but the ones we are talking about should be built in New York, not San Fran. There are too many earthquak...

Oh yes. Everybody knows the Oshner Hare & Hare is one of the country's worst landscape designers. WET Designs? Those fountains they build all over the world are just absolute crap. Spare us. Just what makes you so qualified to offer this expert assesment? Do you have degrees in architecture and...

Re: Minneapolis to get new baseball stadium
   Wait, comparing Fenway to Kauffman is beyond laughable. And Fenway was correctly built in Boston's urban core, not in Foxboro or Mansfield. And seeing how Boston's ownership has completely funded all of the ongoing renovations the past few years, I'm sure the people of Boston aren...

Re: THE RENOVATIONS
Look, the argument--at least as I understand it--isn't about the configuration/layout/amenities of the stadium. It's about the location of it. No one is discounting the beauty of the stadium or the views afforded from its seats. The K is and will be for some time one of the most beautiful stadiu...

Re: Minneapolis to get new baseball stadium
Ummm, these don't look like they're slanted perfectly towards 2nd base. http://image.blog.livedoor.jp/acm76651/imgs/0/7/077d6cdc.JPG Yeah, Kauffman broke away from the cookie cutter designs, but it's seating bowl layout isn't revolutionary, it's no different than Yankee Stadium or even the old Metr...

From ballparksofbaseball.com
"Note: The Fenway Park II webpage has been removed because it appears that the current owners of the Red Sox seem to be committed to improving and renovating Fenway Park instead of building a new ballpark."
Guess Boston is just as screwed as KC

Re: Shoal Creek Parkway
I'm positive about that little stretch of road. I drove buy it last Friday and it has "Shoal Creek Parkway" street signs up. As far as the starting point - I think it starts down near Pleasant Valley Road - where the new police station / police academy are going. It also says the name on...

Re: Minneapolis to get new baseball stadium
So whats the deal with all the new stadiums not being cookie cutters, but having seats that are all squared up...aka...they dont all face 2nd base... Seems to me there all still catching up to kauffman, still the only stadium with a large lower seating bowl and every seat in the house is a "per...

Re: Baseball Investment By Cities 1990-2006
now now kiddies! We dont need another stadium fight. Its a done deal, and who cares....by all possible routes, eventually someday every hunk of land will be overdeveloped, so either way we win...pay less now, get the city built around later! Who cares about location... P.S. I hear there wanting to...

Re: Shoal Creek Parkway
Grid, I'd love to go get a copy from city hall - but I just thought someone might know an online source for it. Plus, looking at the cities' site - I do think they charge money for copies of maps. Im2kull, The plans I have heard about for the road will have it turn Northwest just North of where it...

Re: Shoal Creek Parkway
10-7 Go down to city hall and talk with the planning people. It's public information, so they will help you. They tend to be very helpful if you are nice to them. ;). I think Shoal Creek north of 152 is not totally designed, I'm not sure, I know the city only recently made a decision on the south...
