Re: So when do you grow out of college sports?
Why would you have thought that? That list was for the last three months of 2007. If you look at the first six months of 2008, I'm sure Kansas will be higher.AllThingsKC wrote: Wow. I would have thought KU would be in the Top 10, while MU would be in the Bottom 10. But, both schools did pretty well to have:

Re: Chiefs
How on earth did releasing the schedule turn into such a major event? Has ESPN decided that NFL trumps every other sport currently in-season? Seriously - a two-hour special about the schedule!?!? And teams already know what opponents they play because that is determined years in advance. The only th...

Re: Big 12 Football
did any of you kansas fans go to ku's spring game tonight? I would have gone to OU's Red/White game here in Norman if I hadn't been playing Ultimate frisbee all day. I haven't been to a Red/White game yet and this year was my last chance before I graduate. Oh well. I keep wanting to ask someone who...

Re: Big XII Basketball
1) Kansas fans who try to justify their violations that occured in the wake of championships. 2) The lack of media coverage about the subject. In the end Kansas has won those championships and nobody is taking them away. However, when you try to discuss this with Kansas fans they honestly act qu...

Replying to a post from another thread, but my reply belongs here. A Wichita State student weighs in (angrily) on KU's success: http://www.thesunflower.com/web/isite.dll?1207830675548 I read the article with interest, and for the first few paragraphs, I thought it seemed like a good article up to an...

Re: Arena Parking Challenge
That block would be perfect location for a "MAJOR" light rail / bus transit center with bike facilities, a central, public ATA office for people to get light rail / bus maps, passes, info etc and the city could stack parking on top of all that. Anything less would be a total and complete...

Re: Big XII Basketball
If I were in their place, I'd take the win, but KU has to get the biggest asterisk in the history of college sports for this one. Besides doing it while on probation and taking the benefit of most of the upsets in their bracket (again), they need the officials to swallow their whistles while KU sl...

Whoa! When was that? ??? Refresh my memory of this "6 seconds away" game for me. Oh you definitely know about it. You have referenced it several times. Big party at my house! All my OU friends are cheering for Kansas, of course. Like everyone else, I really hope this game will be closer...

"Now if that list only showed conference championship appearance, division championships, consecutive bowl appearances.... I think some of these metrics are better indicators of success."
I like how this applies to Missouri football but not Kansas basketball.

The thread title isn't "whine over calls in a game that happened 3 days ago"...just because KU fans find them as a threat to their NC run and wanted to see them out of the tournament...that's the only reason you guys give a crap. Guilty as charged, but that doesn't really change the tangi...

Shit, I'm having a hard time give OKC a positive review here haha. I will say this. It's better than Phoenix, if Phoenix were in Oklahoma! OK, I'll stop. Nice city. You guys are doing ok. I'll post some pics for you soon. I completely understand that you would have trouble saying good things a...
