Welp, congrats to KU.  Basketball is over, so lets start talking Royals!

I'm with you here, just don't want to speak too soon!!  I'm not a KU fan by any means, don't really want to see them win...but for some reason, I think I might actually feel bad if they lose. 

Thanks for the pictures, it looks like a great place for a dayhike!  I'm just curious, do you know the actual mile amount of the trails?

We don't really need the stadiums to be in Downtown itself. We could just have them somewhere like near the riverfront or the West Bottoms, however they need to be much closer to downtown than they are now. Its funny to me that west bottoms gets brought up around the same time people are complainin...

Yeah, well the FSN KC channel in Manhattan (KS) has been switched over to tennis.  I don't know what the problem is or why this is done.  I thought I could work around it by using the extra innings package, but its completely blacked out.  I'm in panic mode right now, Gameday on mlb.com only does so...

Is the Royals game on a local channel in KC?  I just raced home from class to watch the rest of the game only to find Tennis on FSN and the Extra Innings Package has blacked out the game.  I certainly hope this doesn't happen very often!!

Could the steakhouse be Sullivans?  I remember reading something about it a month or two ago, but haven't heard anything since.  If so, I do know Sullivans has pretty dang good steak.

Not sure if this has been on here before, but I was just watching the movie "The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford" and there is a lot of talk about KC.  The address they said Jesse stayed at was 1017 Troost.  Pretty good movie too.

In related news, Odalis Perez is scheduled to be the opening day starter for the Nationals.  I like where we are sitting much better!

I think its hilarious that KU fans rally around the bs Whitlock writes.  One of my good friends writes for GoPowercat, and he let me know that the seat reserved for Whitlock at the KSU basketball games is by far the worst of anybody in the media.  I think it was somewhere behind the basketball goal.

USC is a good team, so it was hard for me to choose, but I ended up going with K-State for a few albeit hopeful reasons. 1.  I'm hoping Walker will be up for the game since he is playing against former teammate Mayo.  When Walker is on, that usually means less defense on Beasley.  I think we all kno...

It really surprises me that there isn't already a CVS or Walgreens in the plaza.  Even upscale shoppings districts, ie Michigan Avenue, manage to fit in a Walgreens on just about every corner.

I was just flipping through channels and stumbled upon another Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featuring a KC restaurant.  The episode is called Big Breakfast and they were at 39th Street Mama's.  Pretty cool to see them in the area.  The same episode will be on Food Network this Sunday at 3 o'clock.

can't leave between games in the same session...does any arena allow you passouts during an event? Don't most places allow passouts?  Most of the places I've been allow you to leave as long as you grab a pass out at the door and hold on to your stub.  I could be wrong, but I've never had trouble at...
