Please no western old timey theme. Perhaps if there is some local involvement in the branding we can avoid being the Cracker Barrel of the soccer world.

THANK YOU!!

Also bothersome is why not just a simple title like Olathe?

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)

Halls is in even worse shape than Dillard's, and continues to have zero online presence. If they were to close their Crown Center location (which I doubt they'll do since Hallmark traffic is still such a huge driver of traffic and sales) for a Plaza location and figure out online sales then it might...

In other, less exciting news, Chase is replacing the old Bank of America in Brookside. It also appears they are clearing out the Panera space too, not sure what the plan might be….searching compass I found a permit pulled https://compasskc.kcmo.org/EnerGov_Prod/SelfService/#/permit/b1f1df8d-fcbd-44...

The San Francisco Tower in Crown Center slips in right under the half-century mark (at 47-years; completed in 1976). It was built as a residential building and it's 32 fl...

Unified Government Board of Commissioners very opposed to this project. It has been held over one month for further discussion. Commissioners actually are out here exclaiming that we need more office space and this needs to be preserved as office space only. They don't even want to entertain a mixe...

Damn. Auctioning off everything from fireplaces to windows to radiators. All that's left will be a shell. This property is the victim of too many amazing older homes...elderly residents remain in the home for too long and are unable or unwilling to do any of the necessary upkeep. I get it - elderly ...

I eat at a couple of the Meddy's in Wichita every few weeks and really like it. The food is a bit more Lebanese/Mediterranean than Jerusalem or Aladdin and fresh, sort of fast casual. But what I like most of all is their locations incorporate patio dining and sometimes local music. I think they only...

It does look cleaner, but I kinda miss the pink of the Sheraton Suites...it tied in a *little* better to a modern Spanish-y feel.

Re: OFFICIAL - Embassy Suites (former Federal Reserve)

How long has this debacle been going on with turning it into an Embassy Suites? And what's up with the Hampton being completely closed for renovations? It doesn't seem like it's been open long enough to need a full-scale reno where they couldn't just close one floor at a time.

Just out of curiosity - it seems ever year or two there are tornado warnings that ended up sending airport customers into the tunnels to the parking garages at the old KCI. Where are the storm shelters in the new terminal?

One thing I don't see in that diagram is any capacity to add food trucks to the park edges. There should be some sort of paved indents along Truman on both sides with electrical hookups for the trucks. This would activate the park more than any single thing and would take care of a problem: lack of...
