While we all know what he meant "180" I think his statement will prove to be prophetic once Kansas returns to the cellar next year.

Re: Big XII Basketball
Chef, please answer a simple question for me: if you are so adamant that Kansas is not elite because of a lack of sustained success, what are the "other schools" that do fit that criteria for eliteness? Your posts always leave me wondering whether your purpose is to have a meaningful discu...

I esp liked this one: KU was hardly a household basketball name until Williams made it one If that's true (which I don't know since I wasn't alive before Larry Brown) then it is certainly also true of Duke and Krzyzewski - 10 of their 14 Final Fours and all three of their national championships ha...

My ideal route is: - Enter KCMO at 3rd & Grand from the river crossing. (Route in NKC to be determined) - Over the North Loop, the line jumps from Grand to Walnut. - South through the CBD and Crossroads on Walnut. Stops at 9th, 13th and 18th-19th. - Follow Main Street Bridge over the tracks. - E...

Democrats, at least none that I have seen, are not going to save us from this. This is bigger than the US political system. Doesn't have to be. No reason there can't be huge subsidies for solar (an actual renewable resource, since it won't run out for 5 billion years). Flood the market with cheap s...

However, after the market slowed down and Santa Fe did not sell out as fast as they thought, they put that idea on hold. We still have about 18 units left out of 110 in Santa Fe Place. They have replaced our pool this year so I don’t think they are giving up on residential, just waiting until t...

Oh I'm not trying to make fun of you, I just thought it was amusing in hindsight. Obviously you couldn't have predicted Kansas' most lopsided conference victory ever.KCPowercat wrote: I didn't touch it...after looking at what Tech did against ATM decide against it....thanks for the stalking though.

Re: Kansas City Budget
ultimately, i believe, the problem can all be blamed on poor schools. people bought homes in the suburbs because that's where the good schools are located (and they're still doing that). the jobs followed the families, which pressured people without families to gravitate towards the new job centers...

Obviously the tradition joke was much more of an "accurate" jab about Kansas football than about KSU basketball. Anyone who genuinely thinks there's no KSU basketball tradition is stupid. I just thought it was amusing to see that joke turned to a different purpose. It was a clever joke app...

50% is better than just open looks. And open looks come when the defender is not allowed to hand check the man with the ball out there. "All their 3s were wide-open," said a disgusted Kansas State guard Clent Stewart. "My nephew could sit out there and make wide-open 3s, and he's t...

Can we move the constantly repeated "Funk is the DEVIL" junk to another thread and keep this one about the PAC... I'm getting tired of seeing Funk vilified ad nauseum for things that aren't his fault in threads all over the place.

If you truely believe everyone in the country believes kU is eliete besides MU fans you wouldn't have to keep posting it here. Unless you're actually trying to convince youself of this. Fact is nobody outside of the midwest cares about kU basketball. Was watching the Michigan State/Penn State ga...

For the entire season, I'm 47 for 71 (66%). I underestimated KSU and didn't figure Kansas would have such trouble on the road, though I did call the loss at Texas.
