A clean Bathroom in Kansas City?

Wasn't that the reason KC lost so much first rate trade show business since the Bartle and Convention Center fiasco years back? Bathrooms with litter and tp all over the floor and plugged up toilets?

Be enough to ruin my appetite.

Westport during the 80's was nice.

To bad it's been all downhill since the 90's

Tastes change I guess.

Re: Residential Property Taxes

Is there much profit in the frat house scam?  Seems like maybe just the regular profit so I'm not sure its a scam. It's a scam if they are using the technique to flip properties as fast as possible for a profit with no regard for the neighborhoods character or the stakeholders investment. They don'...

Re: Residential Property Taxes

What's a "frat house scam"? Picking up  inexpensive properties in quiet neighborhoods of serious, considerate working people who have to go to bed early and get up early and rent it to a bunch of loud out of control Frat Boy Animals who make idiots out of themselves 24/7 and could...

Re: Residential Property Taxes

KCR I'm not complaining about Real Estate Co's in general also. In our section of town the vast majority have done a very good job getting good people into homes. It's the sharks, amateurs, and hustlers that piss me off. All it takes is one freaking  "Frat House Scam" to completely destroy...

Re: Residential Property Taxes

There is no free lunch.  Our neighborhood was pretty pissed off at the tax increase and there was a large show of force. Perhaps thats why the adjusters we're so "tame". I know what you mean about paying up Big Time while a house two doors down is taking a free ride on your efforts, invest...

Re: Residential Property Taxes

I would hesitate to protest increased taxes...don't draw unnecessary attention to yourself!  When I purchased my home in Pendleton Heights 5years ago my taxes increased 300% the first year! I protested and they told me to "forget about it" because they are not changing a thing. They told ...

There has been LOTS of coverage of the various customs, smart port, NAFTA highway, etc. items in the local media.  The Star has done several big pieces and some special reports on the topic.  But so far not a lot of coverage on this very new scandal. Yeah there's always some scoundrels lurking arou...

You'll be going to the Independence offices. Unless they've changed it recently. Probably best to call downtown first.
