Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District
^ Great Article. I think it really is true, that entertainment districts kind of spring up on their own. Its funny though because the Water Street in Milwaukee he uses is kind of like a P&L disrict, i don't really like Water Street because its full of suburban tourists getting drunk and acting s...

Re: Kansas, Missouri battle over companies
Are these the type of things KS and MO could face with all these handouts or is this different. Its funny that Rhode Island lured them away from Mass and it looks like it will backfire

Re: Misc Crossroads News
I really wish the Xroads would have a couple apartment/condo projects going on or something, this area could be so cool but a good majority is still fairly vast and open. I wish developers could just focus on one area of the city instead of trying to pick at parts of it.

Re: Mixed-use project for 40th and Broadway
huddle house? pretty weak. these are all over rural missouri and kansas, extending down into the south and southeast. they are basically like a slightly-larger waffle house. definitely not worth knocking down a building for a parking lot for a chain restaurant. I agree that Huddle House is kind of ...

Re: GO ROYALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always thought the one pitcher per inning or every couple innings would be a great idea as well. Baseball has such a mind set of it aint broke then don't fix it so unless we find an unconventional GM and manager, i doubt we ever see it happen. Wins are the most overrated stat in baseball, espec...

Just came from Mesob Pikliz lunch buffet. Under $10 all in. I really wanted to for the buffet today but I wanted to try the lunch only place called Orange Box on westside cause I don't get to eat lunch in the core since I work way out in Eastern Jax. The orange box is really good, yummy pork tender...

Re: Adventurous Eating in KC
In the NE hood, I have eaten at many of the restaurants. My most recent adventure was to dine at Mesob Pikliz at 3405 Independence Avenue, just up from the coin laundry. Hole-in-the-wall, white tablecloth heaven! My first experience with either Eritrian, or Haitian foods. This is the basis of the m...

This really doesn't have anything to do with KC, but a commercial that plays in KC. Has anyone ever seen that Commercial for Worlds of Fun where all they do is scream through the whole commercial? It's the most annoying commercial ever, i just want to rip my hair out when I see it and that family fo...
