Re: Plaza Residential Development
I looked at the new Plaza Heights homes about a year ago. I liked the neighborhood but for us, and we weren't crazy about the floor plan, they were a bit too small and the configuration of having to lug groceries etc.. out of a garage a flight of stairs was not really suitable for a retirement home...

If $ was the only factor, we wouldn't be going to these conferences in the first place even 2 years ago. Anecdotal, but I am personally familiar with 3 annual conferences. An accounting one in Vegas, a compliance one in Washington DC and a smaller one hosted here. To say the virtual experience is a...

Per the team twitter they haven't selected a name yet but are forming a Brand Advisory Council to develop their permanent brand and name to announce next season. https://twitter.com/KCWoSo/status/1349053511296839682

I haven't looked at the FB group and I have no doubt it's filled with racism. I do have a hard time taking anything The Pitch publishes seriously. I feel they're KC's version of Huffpost or Mother Jones. If you haven't taken anything Mother Jones has published seriously, then I don't really care wh...

So yes, everything plays into my vote, even these conversations on a forum. One comment said they’re not really worried about my vote because 1 vote doesn’t matter. What you don’t understand is there are hundreds of thousands like me. 77% of those who identify as republican are afraid to discuss po...

Could be nice to do something along the lines of a fake facade so it better blends into the neighborhood: https://untappedcities.com/2013/04/05/fake-brownstone-brooklyn-secret-subway-ventilator/ If that’s not in the budget, a wall with murals would be an improvement over a plain power sub station. ...

Re: Layoffs at The Star
By going the membership or paywall route, they fucked themselves because they have no unique content or unique perspective. If I see a story from the star and can’t get past the paywall, I can just go read the same damn thing for free elsewhere Agreed. Through staff reductions and lack of strategic...

There were alleged tunnels in the Oaks subdivision between 169 and north Oak. Just look for the houses that look like an Olive Garden. The house on the Paseo is the Henderson House. Was in it in the eighties when they were shoveling deposits of condoms and sanitary napkins out of the carriage house...

The Greatest Generation are all but gone, & so is the Lost Generation. I see just as many boomers out as young people. They just love blaming millennials for everything, even though the youngest are pretty much above 25 now. I know several people who fought in, and lived during, World War II th...
