Totally agree here -- one of the most crucial parts of a thriving urban space is a multi-use green space. Perhaps they can make a "KC Highline" when they close the loop?

We could be entering a bubble or a simple cooling of what has been a red hot market. Do not forget downtown's population has more than doubled in the last decade and there will soon be an additional 20-30% increase in the housing stock based on current projects underway. If phase II of the streetcar...

Is that ground floor retail on the 20th street side?

This is a great addition to Dow town KC that will bring life to a quieter part of the core. I am pumped to see this project come to life. If the stats are true, 70% of 260 apartments is roughly 200 new residents bringing more life and $$$ downtown. Great project!

Update: I bought a place and have been renting it out on Airbnb for 3-weeks. Totally booked up in July and have strong demand for August. Lots of my renters are tourists (surprisingly) and some here for work. Lots of interest about everything going on downtown.

Any update here on the gym opening? Anyone know if it's set to open on Monday, 7/17?
