Nope which is why the comments from the tower properties guy is even more ridiculous. This isn’t competing with their stuff in any way

Re: 10th and Main Southwest Corner (former transit center)
https://cityscenekc.com/kcata-pursuing-ambitious-mixed-use-tower-concept-at-tenth-and-main/ Parson said more study needs to be done to determine whether the proposed mixed-use tower at Tenth and Main is financially feasible. “We’re looking at how to make it work,” he said. I find the Tower Properti...

Re: St. Louis Albion West End
10 EV chargers too which is great. We need more buildings with quicker 32 amp chargers and/or garages pre-wired for 110 sockets in most spots to trickle charge. Way cheaper and easier to get it done before than to wire it up after. More EV chargers will be added too according to Andrew Yule of Albi...

Why is 10th and Main the spot for this type of project and not the Crossroads or some other site? Simple answer: RFP.AlkaliAxel wrote: ↑Wed Mar 23, 2022 6:09 pm Why is this the spot and not the Crossroads or a pure surface lot are?

Re: 10th and Main Southwest Corner (former transit center)
I mean isn't pretty much everyone skeptical of literally anything on here getting built. Never seen a project before that doesn't have "muh skepticism" Skepticism is always warranted because we've all been burned before on projects ranging in size from big to small. We can be optimistic w...

Re: 10th and Main Southwest Corner (former transit center)
I think it looks nice. Even a 20 floor version of this would look great there. Much larger than I was expecting. The part I like are the double height spaces throughout the tower, ground floor looks like it'll be top notch too.

more renderings https://www.4974lindell.com/#community A community meeting was held tonight. No real NIMBYs there tonight, just people offering feedback (which Andrew Yule of Albion encouraged). - 154 bike parking spaces - 30-story tower that's just slightly shorter than the roofline of 100 Above t...

Re: Urban Living Pet Peeves
I still live in St. Louis (for now), but I'd like to say a few things about this subject. Where I used to live in the city, my school was a block away from my house and I could walk there with my siblings while my mom or dad sat on the porch and watched us walk. Our friends' houses were within 1-2 b...

Re: 10th and Main Southwest Corner (former transit center)
This should be a fun one. I'd hope the chosen proposal includes the office and retail components of the RFP + some residential. The more people that can live in downtown, and on the streetcar line, the better. 12 floors seems right for something at this site.

Re: OFFICIAL - Pennway Point
Depending on what tenants move in, and the prices, this might become a new hangout spot for me. The Ferris wheel is more of a landmark than anything for this, and that’s likely to draw attention to the area. Without the Ferris wheel acting as a “beacon”, a doubt many people would know Pennway Point ...

I think it's going to be a fun and unique place. Considering where this is, it's just right. Ferris Wheel will be visible way down the highway.

If anything ever came of this, revert back to the original city limits. Might reduce tax money, but there would be less roads and land to take care of.

Re: 413 Delaware Infill
This is a significant project -- more than it seems. It's because it's such a small parcel, and it's mixed-use that appears to not be seeking incentives. When small parcels like this start getting developed, it means the streetcar line is make those parcels valuable. I expect that if this is succes...

An architect with Gould Evans on Twitter says, "I will need to confirm but I believe there are no incentives being utilized in this project." https://twitter.com/jayccampbell/status/1501039524272652293 Regarding parking, there will only be two car parking spaces accessed through the alley....

Re: 413 Delaware Infill
^I think that's what it'll be like as well. I like No Vacancy, is my preferred place to stay when I come to visit mostly because the rooms there are unique and different. I hope that the small hotel at 413 Delaware has unique rooms themed to the neighborhood.
