You are right. 4th Street east of Grand has in fact been vacated by the city. It is no longer under public control. Since they're now in private ownership someone needs to buy up all the properties along that corridor and create a village. 300 units of housing and a retail pedestrian mall sounds good.

The city has considered development of the three lots at 5th and Main for a couple of years. I am fond of buildings that are four stories or less, but I'm curious why some are concerned about buildings being too tall?
