The option was to (a) pay him $8 million or (b) buy him out for $500k and let him be a free agent. They chose (b) which was the right choice. They are still free to sign him as a free agent. I would call that a keystone, which refers to the top-most piece, the rest is unique enough that it may be a completely separate style.

I mentioned to my wife as we drove down genessee on a tuesday night, "this reminds me of how downtown used to be", but we all know the bottoms is the new crossroads 8)

Tried it for the first time and was very pleased.  Very cool exotic drinks, wife's "Japanese Slipper" tasted exactly like a sweet tart, my old fashioned was well done and generous.  The hanger steak was great, especially the sauce, which they claim is hollandaise, but unlike any I had tast...
