I live in a big city with plenty of construction in tight spaces and it almost never disrupts the streets or the sidewalks. It's not a good problem to have.

If there's going to be a downtown stadium then I can't envision it going anywhere other than the southeast corner of 19th & Oak. It's the only site available which is central enough to be accessible on foot, yet tucked away enough to not create a black hole, doesn't interrupt any existing throug...

I thought the same at first, but 50,000 is their high-end cap for what they might add over 15+ years. Even when you account for spinoff jobs and non-working family members, it still doesn't excede the level of growth that cities like Las Vegas sustained over a similar period of time. 100 acres was only for greenfield sites. For infill sites they didn't specify anything.

If I understand correctly, they control around 65k square feet on that block. 1300 parking spaces would be something in the ballpark of 400k square feet of development. Add that to the marketable space and you have a roughly 670k square foot project. So when they say 10 stories, they must mean 10 st...
