Target at Ward Parkway
I have a K-Mart, Target and WalMart all close to where I live but I always shop at Target. K-Mart looks the same as it did 20 years ago and seems messy. WalMart is way overcrowded (great mullet hunting) and I swear, I've never spent less than 15 minutes in a checkout line. Target always seems clean,...

Anti Jo Co Movement
I don't know of anyplace else with that type of surroundings. Cedar Creek is nice with great views. And the houses don't look cookie-cutter. My only problem with it is that it's so far from anything else. Aren't there some areas of NKC that have hills, woods and views where they could build new home...

Anti Jo Co Movement
I agree that some parts of NE JoCo are nice, desireable and liveable. Fairway, Westwood, Mission - all have character plus they're close to the Plaza and Midtown. Anti Jo Co Movement
I grew up in JoCo - but in the northern, older burbs. You couldn't pay me to live there though. What gets me about the newer areas is how all the houses look alike. Is there only one builder in JoCo? And when you're driving around, all you see is the backs of these big, beige barn-looking boxes. Cur...

KCK turning a corner?
Real back yards??? When I'm back in OP, they seem quite oversized to me. Actually, I wouldn't buy most JoCo homes simply for the fact that there's too much grass around them. Who needs that kind of upkeep? But then I live in So. California where land is expensive and smaller yards the norm. For me, ...

KCK turning a corner?
In July I got a tour of the new EPA building downtown KCK and was impressed with it. It also has great views of the airport and the KCMO skyline. I drove down Minnesota Ave. and did a little exploring since I haven't really been in KCK in a long time. I can honestly say this isn't a city on the upsw...
