It was a truck crane by the Kauffman Ballroom it appeared.

If either KC or StL metro areas had a population of almost 38 million it might make sense. A Train only has to travel 110mph to be considered high speed. This is already being worked on between Chicago and STL over Union Pacific Tracks. Adding KC would be a natural next phase and wouldn't be too ex...

Copaken Brooks Website saysy that only 1 space is avalible for the tower, and its a retail space. Could the project be moving forward? or nah.

How many tower cranes will we see at once downtown within a year or so? Three is my guess. Two Light, Hyatt and the 12 story building in the crossroads if it breaks ground. I would imagine if three light goes up as quickly as they say, it will be after the crane comes down at two light, but several...

the draft TOD policy is expected to go before council this month. that's where the rubber will meet the road on street-level retail (although it's not required, it at least provides the good urban form for it to flourish). an urban target should be an easy get for downtown. it would be as much of a...
