New Advance KC document related to this project - it looks like it went from 12 stories to 7 (5 stories of apts over 2 of garage). The owner of the land, 3D Development, will give the land to Greystar Development in exchange for 150 parking spaces for 2101 Broadway, presumably opening up space for a...

On Compass KC today there is a tenant finish permit application for 3.5 floors at 805 Pennsylvania. It's fair to assume this is related to the USDA's move here.

Updated development plan with multiple ground floor renderings located on Compass KC.

No changes thus far to street level. As the renderings will show though, it is not just a long blank wall - it's a really nice, long blank wall.

It looks like this project had its grand opening on June 26th, 2018. Here's a link to a KCStar article the following day about it.

Re: Are downtown apartment occupancy rapidly trending down?

I'm not surprised occupancy is remaining strong - not that many units downtown have been added recently. I think the only downtown apartment project to complete in 2019 was The Gallerie and its 425 units. 2020 is going to have a lot more come online though: RMW II, 116 units City Club Apartments, 28...

There were two permits today for projecting signs at this location for a 'DG X' store. One of the permits is for a 4ft double-sided blade sign, and the other is for a 13' wall sign.

Revised plans are now available via CompassKC. It has a couple of enhanced elevations, but is otherwise nothing much new to this board. On the 14th street side the first two 'blocks' have a metal screen on them. 14th street is still a blank black wall. I think the graphics in this document were wha...

In the original plans released on 12/9/2019 these areas are marked as "Metal Wall Panel".

Was reviewing the permitting on this project and noticed that the City Plan Commission, recommended adding a cornice to the top of this building. No idea whether they'll do it, and no updated renderings were available.

CPC Staff Report is available at this location.

Any guess with how tall this could be? That’s a lot of different elements. Based on similar size hotel/office/residential projects in the city I'd put it at 35-50 stories. 500 parking spaces and 160,000 sqft office : 13th & Wyandotte project with 14 stories 200 hotels rooms: : Similar to Hyatt ...
