Re: Sporting Kansas City
Big-time playoff match between Sporting and STL City incoming. Didn't see that coming at the beginning of the season. Strange and kind of frustrating that the first game of the series is Sunday at 9 PM CST. Will it be broadcast locally or only on Apple TV/MLS Pass? It's just a one game playoff, no ...

Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments
AA should use those extra planes at Miami or create some more point to point Caribbean routes from the Midwest. Would be nice to see a daily from to CUN instead of the Sat only.

Texas Rangers World Series Parade
It seems kind of sad that the Rangers parade will be rolling along in Arlington Texas. A lifeless suburban area everyone will have to drive to. This has got to be the first time a sports parade will be in a suburb isn't it? This is equivalent to the NY Giants having a parade in NJ cause they play in...

Re: Companies moving/expanding to KC area
Always find these lists from the KCBJ interesting: Fastest-Growing Businesses in the Kansas City area (Average annual revenue growth, 2020-2022) Also, I was curious and the geographic midpoint of the full list of 306 companies is NE Johnson County - basically Fairway, KS. Is it a good sign for your...

Re: Brightline
Doesn't Brightline seem kind of ironic in the grand scheme of things. Brightline is privately ran and it seems to be somewhat successful in Car Oriented, Conservative places that generally hate transit like this, this is making the California rail project look like a complete boondoggle. Is the gove...

Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments
A lot of this downspoking probably has to do with a pilot shortage as well. I'm sure AA would love to fly 2-3 times daily MCI-PHL but they probably cannot with stafffing shortages

Wonder if Rays stadium announcement and the Brewers stadium upgrade funding have something to do with the delay.

These airline incentives are worse then the KCMO/JoCo border war. Anyone can get an international airline route if you throw enough money at it. Omaha could get a non stop to Ulaanbaatar for the right price. Speculating the next airline routes is fun for the aviation geeks but long term it does noth...

What a dumb purchase this was by Smucker, Who seriously eat Hostess anymore? I never see people buy the stuff at gas stations. They are kind of expensive, horrible for you and some of the other flavors they have outside of Twinkie and cupcakes look kind of gross

Was it just me or did it seem like there were a lot of Lions fans at the game, I saw like 10 fans on the Plaza just driving thru, I guess it kind of makes sense, 1st game of year, you have a team we only play at our home basically every 8 years, the lions are competitive and Michigan area is drivabl...

How will all of this be sustainable? I know they are all kind of different concepts but you have Tin Roof in Westport that is a big space, you have the new Jukebox Heroes Bar in that huge space where ramen shop was, Westport Ale House is basically just a nightclub kind of place now, Fountain Haus, O...

Cheddar's is the one chain my gf & I have been to where we watched a group of people blast a waitress so bad for the most miniscule stuff that we would never even imagine complaining about that we asked her if she wanted to sit down & take a breather at our table for a moment, which she did...

The reason why Broadway is so rough is because of the plasma center. Plasma Center is a hotbed for drug activity. If plasma center goes away, the entire area changes overnight. I remember this article from the pitch talking about this area. It's from 2007 so it's clear the problems still haven't gon...

Perhaps a move downtown to the Royals Ballpark District? Have you seen the KC Area team, they all look like a bunch of frat boys that golf every other day, they want nothing to do with downtown kansas city, all of their profiles say they went to a Kansas College or live in Olathe or Overland Park, ...
