Re: NE Corner of 14th & Wyandotte (300 unit apartment)
Why would we complain about a growing street wall and another 300 units downtown?

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
The 71 has room for extra lanes if they carve into the grass and just give a modern retaining wall, similar to the 35 thru Fort Worth or the 110 in South Los Angeles. But I think it's an ideal candidate for LRT and that option should be explored as well. Maybe both are possible.

Despite the lack of commercial I'm still happy to see this one progressing. River Market might have its own little skyline one day! It's important that new proposals get taller in order to maximize density. Not many spots left to build new that aren't already claimed by developers. Now's the time t...

Whatever gets built on the vacant lot the architects need to design some eye candy for the T intersection. When you have a terminating sightline like this, you need something extraordinary. https://www.google.com/maps/@39.0413475,-94.5941243,3a,90y,274.01h,108.83t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1syq7fFOrkOZv90r...

Fowler is by far one of the worst in the chambers, if he is being replaced by default it is a huge win!

Re: When Downtown KC was a powerhouse - A must see for all
Heartbreaking, I understand not everything can be saved, but an entire neighborhood was decimated. I'm sure a modern streetcar would have been funded by a TIF by now and this neighborhood would have been one of our densest and most exciting had we salvaged more. It would likely be that the south of ...

Re: Phase Three Streetcar Expansion
i agree with Dave, if the density isn't there to pay for an expansion to NKC, how is it going thru impoverished neighborhoods and industrial areas to a NFL stadium known for tailgating? We would be better off investing in bus infrastructure and a complete rebuild of Blue Ridge Blvd.

Re: Imperial Brewery (across from Margaritas)
Could something be done with the cliff face on the back side of the brewery? I’m not a rock climber, but I could imagine that could become a draw for locals who do climb of the equipment was installed and the area behind the building cleaned up a bit. It’d be difficult to incorporate alcohol into t...

Another possible person to honor in naming this park is composer John Kander, who was born in--and grew up in--Kansas City. He is a winner of three Tony awards, two Emmy awards, two grammy awards, a Kennedy Center honor for lifetime achievement as well as numerous other awards and nominations. http...

Re: World Cup 2026 at Arrowhead?
KC does surprise in a good way because most have low expectations. She is exponentially more developed, modern, diverse, and exciting than anyone would ever assume. Our culinary scene is enough to be spoken highly of here in Los Angeles, and when I lived in Chicago most people knew of the Jazz and M...
