Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
The rag in a nutshell! Earthling - Hates the cordish glass wall. TLG - Prefers older architecture and is opposed to demolishing most everything. Literally gets hives after reading anything I post. Thinks I'm a monster for downtown but probably has enjoyed several projects I've been apart of. FANG -...

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)
We were there on Saturday when it was still cold around noon. Lots of people were out, parking lots were full and stores seemed to be doing pretty good business (at least the ones we were in}. Definitely a lot of out of towners from the tournament.

Re: Kansas City De-Annexations
De-annexing the land east of Raytown alone would put us closer to 275 square miles and couldn't cost us more than a couple thousand residents tops. Hell it would probably be more likely to develop if it was Less Summit. I have zero faith in Raytown and not much more in Independence though. Totally ...

Re: Kansas City De-Annexations
Regarding the original question of what should be de annexed. https://imgur.com/a/CV8Jn80 I did a little doodle. Not fully certain of what we might be missing jobs/economic activity wise if these areas were cut off besides that Honeywell(?) plant down south. This just makes sense to me on geographi...

Re: OFFICIAL - New KCI Terminal
Last couple times I used Uber in last couple weeks it shows assigned driver assigned to another fare. You can watch them drop off current rider before heading your way. Never saw that until recently (Midtown/Downtown). In Austin, about 80% of my rides are me getting pinged while I’m currently drivi...

Re: Home prices across KC neighborhoods
https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1230-E-23rd-Ave-Kansas-City-MO-64116/66447831_zpid/ A home in NKC just hit $235 per square foot. Our house would have increased in value by 50% since 2017 if it sells at that amount. Tell me about it. I recently bought into the KC market. I've been searching for 3...

Re: OFFICIAL: Port Authority Riverfront Project
Omg, I can't believe this. There are 32 mls free agents across the league. There are no nwsl free agents. International free agents only want money. Ffs, make this stop This whole string should be moved to sports. Regarding 32 - that number will increase in the future. Free agency has only been aro...

Re: OFFICIAL: Port Authority Riverfront Project
WoodDraw you are only partially right. MLS now has free agency and international players usually have a choice - for example Pulido and Russell both would have had to chosen to come here. These occurrences are more than special circumstances and cover the majority of the higher paid players, however...

Re: OFFICIAL: Port Authority Riverfront Project
Sporting KC 2 should look to play here - would draw much better than CMP or swope I know. Like I don’t know how the obvious response to them building this stadium wasn’t “okay we all know SKC should be here within like a decade or less” right? I mean after the women’s team is packing that stadium d...

Re: Fixing the KC Zoo (ongoing)
San Diego zoo does a nice job of having lots of local beer and wine carts sprinkled throughout while keeping it family focused. I think the zoo should partner with Boulevard or someone to place some f&b carts throughout for the weekends

Re: Future Stadium Plans: Chiefs and Royals
Theoretically, Sporting KC is turning people away every single game. Every game feels electric. Seen as one of the best in all of soccer. Experience passes Royals by 1,000 miles. A 27,500 seat baseball stadium would only turn people away 5-10 of 80 games a year.
Sell Outs have a sp...

I'm a long time KcRager. Born and raised in Kc. Lived in Tucson longer then in Kc but have the Kc spirit in my DNA. Question... where do you live and what grade school did you attend? My suggestion is the answer to your question is right in front of your face. It all there and always has been. I'm ...

Re: Plaza Residential Development
I looked at the new Plaza Heights homes about a year ago. I liked the neighborhood but for us, and we weren't crazy about the floor plan, they were a bit too small and the configuration of having to lug groceries etc.. out of a garage a flight of stairs was not really suitable for a retirement home...
