Logo embroidery

I was reading the media embroidery thread and it got me thinking about a small project that I am needing done. I have a jacket that is a replacement for one that someone stole from me. So far I have my name embroidered on the right hand side like the original but I need to have the company logo (tha...

Re: What is a Grocery Store?

I did not know whrer to post this but here in Topeka the largest Hy Vee supermarket opened its doors today. I went and looked around and this one is totaly different than any others that I have seen. The store is located at 29th and Wanamaker Rd. with an exterior simular to the one at 6th street in ...

Re: "KC Strip" Bus Service

Part of the reason for the strange routes in cities like KC is because of the number of required stops that each bus has to make.

I have never seen Topeka on Cops either. I have seen it on Real Stories of the Highway Patrol though.

Re: The End of Oil

And on the same site it says that Chevron has a 10% profit with the rising gas prices. These companies that have a double digit profit percentage should be using that money to explore for more oil or develop ways to make gas out of other sources that all cars can use. I tried to use E85 ethanol in m...

Maybe this championship series will put some wind in Kansas City's sails to land a NHL team. With Topeka Roadrunners doing so good in attendance and winning I do not think that they will be going anywhere soon.

Re: Metro North Mall

I have often wondered what the average lifespan of a mall is. The mall here in Topeka surprisingly is full of businesses but the sidewalks outside are showing their age with some crumbling badly. Even with the high cost of gas the mall does a surprising amount of business.

Re: Why has KC appeard on Cops so many times?

I have seen a lot of Kansas City on Cops. tonights two segments are just a chip off of the iceberg. I find it kind of unique. Another area city that has been featured a lot is Wichita Kansas. I have yet though to see the city of Topeka on there.

Re: Kansas City Mounties

Just out of curiosity, does the KCMO police department ride bicycles also? I have seen them using them over here in T-town. It looks so weird seeing an officer riding a bicycle or a horse for that matter instead of a cruiser.

Re: Rape at Tootsies?

What you said DaveKCMO. I have been to Tootsies twice in my life and was appalled by the use of shower curtains in the ladies room (if you call it that). Both restrooms are classified as unisex by the establishment which also is a huge red flag to any patron. It would be better if the restrooms were...
