How does the east loop site not have the same traffic concerns for you? How does this site impact the north loop more than the east village site? Pure fear mongering

No this has been in the works for a while / was on agenda before thatTheUrbanRoo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 15, 2024 12:41 pm Could be totally wrong here, but does adding more units have anything to do with the fact Royals suddenly decided to move like 2 blocks away from this site?

How does the P&L district handle events like the Super Bowl? I would think that there would be far more people that want to be there than the place can accommodate? Is it hard to get in for major events like this? People need to purchase a ticket to enter the event. https://www.powerandlightdis...

Re: OFFICIAL - New KCI Terminal
I overheard someone in the new terminal complain about the distances and pointed out that Phoenix has golfcart-like vehicles to move disabled or elderly people around, which would probably be welcomed here. At the same time, I don’t think the amount of walking at the new kc terminal is that unusual...

I've been using the airport more and I think the criticism is mostly off base. It's a very nice airport. I traveled with my parents recently who are perfectly mobile but getting up there in age and they asked why there weren't more moving walkways. I think that's a legit critique now after spending...

Re: OFFICIAL - New KCI Terminal
They could easily be added down each concourse but would then remove ability to drop in some vendors if ever wanted to. Probably unnecessary I do think they could get some golf carts to the old people. Nope. Not wide enough. Woukd kill circulation, and the below surface space isn’t there. In places...

Re: New Chiefs Stadium
They can add several more suites along the 100 level concourse without losing any seating. I don’t anticipate they go down in capacity at all. Adding another ribbon board across the ledge of the 400 level will happen which means them finding a new home for the ring of honor. Basically, more glitz, ...

Re: Overhaul of Kansas City incentive policies
How would you approach adjusting the length and % of the abatement? One thought I had is to make the abatement process less subject to negotiation. The more discretion and negotiation, the more it matters who your lawyer is, or how your relationship with a certain council member is, etc. If it was ...

They had nowhere else to go. It was lose the team or build there. They are trying with the cheaper U-Pass system but the fact there are fewer young people driving is really going to ultimately kill that location. Fewer young people driving? Absurd. The base comes in off 435. It’s not the overweight...
