Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium

The city will probably issue municipal bonds that shouldn’t be paid for by the tax payers. On another topic. Have the Royals released to the public what is their planned timeline for the promised development and what its contemplated composition would be? Yes I believe it was opening day 2028

The people that I knew that went: - parked at the library, took the streetcar to 3rd and grand and then walked from there - biked - had friends/family drop them of...

It’s all coming out. Not to take away from the Royals part but Frank White is equally if not more to blame for the late rollout. The royals tried to engage and negotiate the lease and CBA with him as soon as early fall 2023. He wouldn’t even sit down with them. That’s true. But those conversations ...

But cities and neighborhoods shouldn’t be encased in amber. They need to evolve as the city evolves.

This argument is not all that different from a suburban nimby who doesn’t want anything but single family homes in their neighborhood

Well, that's uninspiring. Appreciate the density, but the massing and acres of surface parking are rough for creating a neighborhood. Agree. My other concern here involves ownership. Is this all for renters? Mix of own and rent Thanks. That’s good to hear as I tend to believe that a greater percent...
