Re: New Chiefs Stadium
Just wanted to say the Chiefs should build an Allegiant in the West Bottom and the Royals should build a Wrigley in E Crossroads. That is all.

I’m not saying this design is gonna happen at this site- but the 4 Light design *should* look something like this to not just copy that glass look. I wish they’d pick this design.

Re: TIME TO FREAK OUT AGAIN ABOUT CONFERENCE REALIGNMENT! THE BIG 12 IS DEAD! MAYBE!
At some point we need to approach the Big 12 and poach them to Kansas City, and move them to some class A office space downtown. There’s no reason to be in Dallas anymore since this is a Kansas-led conference now. They need to atleast try it.

Yeah Pac 12 is cooked. Oregon & Washington have reached out to the B1G. If I'm the Big 12 I do everything I can and undercut them to get those schools Pac 12 commish was complaining that Big 12 is trying to poach the hell out of them. Seems like a few of them atleast will eventually come over.

I've come around on this site- for the sole reason that it adds something decent looking to that God-awful looking area behind the convention center. It is like death when you are back there. Mostly because of the highway and surface lots.

^ I understand that. But running those smaller buses for a massive parking lot like that will be annoying for users, trust me. I just hated those little buses when I used to use them all the time and that was back when it was split up three ways so the route through the parking lot was 1/3 less. Re...

Out of all the surface lots available that's one they choose to highlight? I can think of 10 better spots off the top of my head. Yeah, can't get excited about this one sorry. Unless it's all about some new master plan to clean up the convention center and beautify the surroundings (because when yo...

Will be over in November and going to the Jacksonville game. My girlfriend is a Browns fan from Ohio and we don't really know people who go regularly so can't do the proper tailgating plus don't have all the nooks and crannies grill, gazebo etc. Anyone able to share what the "ford tailgate dis...

"A-Rod bought the T-Wolves" A-Rod and his partner bought the T-Wolves for $1.5B, each being a 50/50 partner. Can you imagine how much a team might cost 10 years from now. Do you think Mahomes could fork over $750M in ten years? The time to try and secure a NBA team is now. By that I mean ...

Plus I'm not sure what a guy like Mahomes end game is when it comes to his life after football. Does he stay around KC, or move on? He loves KC now and is deeply involved in the community for sure. Mahomes said in an interview with the Star last year that getting an NBA team here is in the plans of...

Re: NBA to Kansas City
But I just do not see the local big money players that have a desire to make it work. Mahomes may want basketball, and he has a nice bankroll. But we need ownership, a person or select group, that can provided like 5 times the wealth he has and one that can sustain it for the long haul and has the ...

I don't see how you can ignore the MLS. They directly compete for the same entertainment dollars. What's the difference between 19,000 people at the soccer stadium vs 19,000 people at Kauffman stadium or 19,000 people at a NHL or NBA game downtown? TV ratings Yeah and it's like the 4th best league ...
