Fang, you nailed it....but it's not really the EDC/City's fault. This drops squarely on the KCStar! And surprisingly it came immediately after they got their tax abatement extended. I know directly of a developer who approached the Star on 2 separate occasions to purchase the lot and construct a $40...

CPC denied this project today. Too dense for the neighborhood and also cited traffic issues. Doesn't seem like a very good plan...maybe this denial will result in a better project?

I had anticipated some tree trimming, etc. But not a wholesale clearcut! I've been a huge streetcar supporter/fan...but I'm starting to hit the wall here with all the construction in the Rivermarket.

A few questions. Anyone know? -Is there a realistic image of what the overhead wires will look like? All images I've seen lack the overhead. -What about tree trimming. For instance, I'm concerned about the 5th Street and Delaware St trees...aren't they going to have to significantly trim those in or...

Yep. Big, nice and $$$. The bar is HUGE...at least twice the size of previous. Free parking has cost me $1 to $8, no rhyme or reason...but not free! Overall, nice, but won't be going back as frequently. Reminds me of Brio.
