If I remember, yes but it was only glass. This appears to be part of the structure itself so I hope it stays but you never know.hgascoigne wrote:Didn’t Two Light also initially have an angled roof that was removed?

Re: Three Light
There's a rendering I don't think we've seen before in this document prepared for the Chapter 353 board. FYI - It is marked as a preliminary rendering, but it has the building at approx 30 stories, and a roofline that tilts eastward over the top 4 stories KCDowntown I like it. At least it is not a ...

Thanks. Hopefully something is proposed on that lot soon so that this camera view comes in handy.TheLastGentleman wrote:https://video.nest.com/live/16BaltimoreEastChris Stritzel wrote:What is the link to that one?TheLastGentleman wrote: The east camera is still up, so that's a good sign

Re: St. Louis/CWE studio gang skyscraper proposal
This broke ground today (Commencement Ceremony) and it was a nice day for it. Sunny, Warm and a Breeze made it really nice. In 20 months, this lot will be gone and a new, 36 floor building will stand in its place. Also, MAC must have some other projects planned for St. Louis.

Re: Fixing p&l traffic backups
Looking out my window tonight reminded me of this thread. So much going on here: A long line of cars attempting to get into the Midland garage (from both directions so both directions are blocked), cars blocking the intersection at 12th street, and the streetcar has take 15 minutes to navigate one ...

Interesting that they already have the base piece in place. Seems way to early for that but look on the Brightside, there will be two (or 3) tower cranes within two blocks of each other!KCLover wrote:Looks like they are already beginning to assemble a tower crane.

Re: Three Light
For comparison to another Cordish project, all of Ballpark Village Phase 2 in St. Louis is listed at $260M. It includes a 29 story apartment tower, an office building (don't know if there is anything official, but renderings look like a 9 story building with ground floor retail), an 8 story 216-roo...

Re: renovate hanna, demolish lane... are we still doing this?
A couple of things... 1. I will miss the old design of the Lane Building. Even though I don't live in KC, I always loved the old design of the building. 2. They better have a replacement building ASAP. A parking lot along Main Street is a sorry excuse for such a prominent lot. LOCATION, LOCATION, LO...

Re: OFFICIAL - Loews Convention Hotel (formerly Hyatt)
Today, St. Louis gained a Loews Hotel. It will be a Live! one. In regards to this one in Kansas City, this won't be a Live! By Loews but rather a simple "Loews" brand.

Hey StrangerThings, Any word on if Cordish is looking into possibly doing office space in downtown. I know that they have announced a tower in St. Louis ala BPVII Sorry to butt in but yes, they announced an office building last October. They didn't announce it officially but the BizJournal reported...

Re: Does the Plaza need a drastic change or on the right path?
Crazy idea, but I think Country Club Plaza could lose some streets going through it. Preferably Nichols Road, Pennsylvania and Central (47th has to stay, it is common sense the same with Broadway) Make it more Pedestrian Friendly. This way, you can have a safer atmosphere with more "small shops...

800 hotel rooms will add hundreds of people to the surrounding area. The 16th St streetcar stop will be busy day and night. Families will walk up and down Baltimore and Wyandotte and 16th St, reaching places that don't exist today. The southern three quarters of the perimeter of the hotel are going...
