P&L res tower is on there. I have no problem including huge projects everywhere but obviously all the smaller projects are focused in the core/downtown. Children's Mercy is listed in the finished projects. Nelson is listed Need to add St. Lukes and NKC hospitals KCI is listed in finished project...

I'm just not big into huge tax breaks to move them to their own building down the street from where they are now.

I really have no problems with building an office tower on top of the planned cordish stuff but no reason to pretty much destroy the Empire for a corp. headquarters. No thanks.

I appreciate all that DST and KCP&L have done downtown, but I don't like this plan at all. Unless the bottom level can be used as Cordish has planned out and offices above it (which the article says would not happen). Even then I'm not completely behind it....like Grid said, it's just odd.

I would rather take our "dead downtown" than their shiny, yet 60% alive downtown. I don't know why, but something about downtown Mpls rubs me the wrong way...too many downtown malls, too new of buildings or something, it felt like a city, but just a bizarre city with nothing truly interes...
