Re: OFFICIAL - 909 Walnut
the website had information regarding buying units as recently as ~6 months ago. they redid their website this winter and that information appears to be gone. i also know of at least one inquiry into purchasing a unit around summer 2016, and 909's office provided information. the putative buyers cho...

probably all ladies. here is a 1914 newspaper from chicago hinting at some of the issues relating to these entrances — pretty hard to read even zoomed in, but appears to be a marketing ploy that at least in some instances may have been used in a misleading (sinister?) way http://archives.chicagotrib...

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand
business expense theory makes a ton of sense. and if that's the intended/expected use, that's pretty cool. on the hybrid apartment/hotel issue — interesting question. some back of the napkin math makes it look like you would have to hit something like 40-60% occupancy throughout a year depending on ...

Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand
the sole two-story "penthouse" unit on what looks to be the NE corner of the 24th/25th floors is a 1558 square foot unit with balcony on the 24th floor. i bring this up because it is the first floor plan in either of the #Light buildings that i thought raised the bar above "new constr...

i remember there being a truck outside P&L during the world series run that was selling royals gear. any chance that was affiliated with rally house — early scouting effort, perhaps? i am guessing it was probably just some opportunistic and questionably-licensed outfit, though. i'd much rather h...
