On I-35 just south of Armor on a clear night there is a spot where the loop skyline and the Crown Center Skyline all kind of mesh together and make on impressive sight. At night you really don't have the depth of field to tell that Crown center is that far away. Pretty cool!

You still can't take a 2 second exposure with a monopod. A super light weight $15 tripod is still a better bet for long exposures. Is still a light and easy to carry around. And if you bust it, it's no big loss.
