Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments
I noticed at Big 12 Tourney that KU is playing in Mexico City in December, KCI officials should give incentives for this route as a nonstop route maybe seasonal a few days a week. AeroMexico codeshares with Delta, Mexico City opens up a lot of One Stop service to Mexico, Central and South America. ...

travis and patrick opening a steakhouse on the ground level facing Baltimore and soon to be cap - 1587 Prime Hope they do OK. Seems to be kind of a saturated market in KC. It will compete directly with the place in the P&L District. I feel like our high end (expense check) steakhouse market may...

Extending to 2031? Star ran an article on the discussions. By 2031, it will be time to start thinking major renovation. Yes and bringing another sports tournament to KC. To follow up on this tease from 5 months back: Announced that the Big 12 women's Soccer Championships will be held here in KC at ...

Hard to say this but the other corners really need to go soon too. Love the tenants and hope they can find a new home. The grocery stores are especially set up in a suburban manner

Grand currently closed for the big12 as we approaching rush hour, Oak is essentially bumper to bumper traffic through the area. I can't imagine the shit show this would be right now if oak was closed. Easily the street with the most traffic downtown on days when grand is closed We've told the team ...

Re: wtf is happening to w. 39th?!
I feel as though many of the SFHs around 39th could use replacing. I’m not saying a new 2+5 but at least some walk ups or row homes. The housing stock is not always in great shape. similar to north plaza in that regard

Re: Missouri Amtrak Service
I assume we are imagining a separate service than the Amtrak route right? Or is everyone here imagining that the (destined to be abysmal) frequency on a KC-Omaha line will somehow draw airport ridership? KCMO, KCATA, MODOT, and FRA are all different studies at this point Classic! to be fair, KCMO, ...

Re: Missouri Amtrak Service
Have any of you wanting this to the airport ever been on Amtrak before? 😬 In my ideal world, KCMO / MoDot build down I29 to KCI and then MoDot / Amtrak build past to St Joe or Omaha. KCI service will need new tracks built anyway and BNSF is historically not open to passenger on the Parkville to Oma...

Re: Missouri Amtrak Service
In terms of long distance trains, the FRA proposed last week to connect KC on two different long distance routes to MSP. One Via OMA and one via DES, on the other end these routes would end at Phoenix and San Antonio.
