That is likely the most pathetic rendering I have ever seen. Looks like a blind 3rd grader made it. If that is any indication of the quality we will see on this project, it will be bleak. And there's a good chance someone is going to fall off of that balcony. I hope it is the person who did the ren...

Re: 1822 Main Redevlopment
Ugh, 3 story office on top of 3 level parking garage podium. Seems stupid right on the streetcar line. 120 parking spaces (3 floor garage) - 45,000 SF (3 office floors) 40-50 jobs per floor - .8 to 1 spot per job https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D_CTfUUWsAEvX4I?format=jpg&name=small And the article ...

Re: World Cup 2026 at Arrowhead?
Really it’s only with a dedicated row light rail or commuter rail and more than 1 line to/from Truman’s Sports Complex that we could begin to move those World Cup Crowds What route would you see this line taking? You could put a light rail line down 31st or Linwood. I’m mainly saying that we would ...

Re: Parking Garage Madness, Lyric YMCA, DST, ect
If I recall, I questioned why they were demolishing that garage, and was told there was a structural problem with it because of water leakage. But then why make the replacement so fancy? I'm no parking garage expert, but it seems unusual to hire an architect, particularly a prominent architect, to ...

Re: World Cup 2026 at Arrowhead?
Group consensus is dedicated ROW rail from DT to TSC is too expensive and would not get done in time, right? You could build a center running streetcar/light rail hybrid down Linwood or 31st Street to the RI ROW over to the stadium. This ~6.2 mile line would require at least 1 new bridge and sizabl...

How the hell is Philly ranked lower than Cincy and Nashville and Orlando ranks as one of the best. Here is the full report. Pg 131 - Transit. Seems to take into account three criteria- international access, intra-city access, and intercity access on match day (20% weighted each). I'm unsure if ther...

Re: OFFICIAL - City Club Apartments (former Midwest Hotel)
I was impressed when I walked by this weekend? Maybe I'm just trained now. It’s taken them well over a month just to put the metal decking down on the small phase 1 steel structure. They haven’t even completed the decking install nor poured concrete. We are unfortunately used to the slow progress.
