Re: Downtown Tanners closing?

It seems like the place is pretty decent before midnight, my wife has been there a couple times and has never had any issues. They will probably end up closing the club part down if these shootings keep happening The arcade portion was great and had fun. About 10-10:30 the place started changing th...

Re: Downtown Tanners closing?

I went last weekend and there was a rough crowd in the arcade late and on the 3rd floor in the 10 Spot night club, so hearing of the shooting on Saturday wasn't at all surprising.

Here's the real rendering. It's going to be the home of the new Johnny Kaws World Headquarters.

Re: Westport

Given the bouts of violence in Westport, there is some sort of irony in naming a business "Shot Stop" or "Bomb bar."

It could be worse... at least it's not America's Pub taking over the district.

A few people on here have seen the renderings confidentially.
And? Is it something to be excited about, or another One Light, Two Light looking building?

Re: OFFICIAL - The Grand (former Traders on Grand)

I'm only interested in a 2BR and no way in hell am I spending $1,975 -to $2,120 for 1100 sq of space and a funky layout. The living area in one plan is so small that you have to put furniture in front of a bedroom doorway and walk around it. No room for a kitchen table or any table for that matter e...

Re: Are downtown apartment occupancy rapidly trending down?

Realistically, no office towers are going to be built downtown as long as companies keep building low rise towers in Overland Park. 1,000 new employees in a downtown spec office tower would sure be nice, but instead, they are going to an empty parking lot at 95th & Metcalf. https://www.bizjourna...

The structure won't be any taller than the taller tower crane on the left. They don't have the climbing frame on that one, but they do have one on the right shorter crane so it will be raised at some point.

Must be delayed. The base is still there waiting on the tower.
I will anxiously await...

Somewhere around May 1st. You can tell by the convention hotel construction. Portable red crane is there to assemble 2nd tower crane. Went back through Loews thread to confirm, but like you said sure appears a Saturday for all the activity at City Market and I noticed 14th is closed between Main and...

I heard a rumor today that is apparently making it's way around town that Kohls is coming to the plaza. I laughed so hard I about peed my pants, but sadly it's sort of believable if they had that kind of space available.

A food hall ultimately is just a casual restaurant. Crossroads can support more casual restaurants. So happy Vince decided to go public with the details. I knew you all would be excited! True enough. But, give me this instead - http://www.tulsaboxyard.com/ Mix of food concepts, retail, services. Pl...
