The new construction looks far better in the new renderings than previous ones. The colors in the original renderings always made it look too clashing.
In the new rendering it appears that the SE corner portion next to the restaurant along 20th street lost a floor.

Re: OFFICIAL - City Club Apartments (former Midwest Hotel)

Are we thinking this will be stick frame on the upper floors on top of those 2 levels of concrete and steel framing? Or will the steel framing continue? I'm curious about the need for the crane.

EDIT: i guess it's a smaller crane here, like what they are using at RM West Phase 2

Re: Misc Crossroads News

How about a blanket ban on vending food from vehicles on public streets? Make it something allowable by invitation only, so the brewery/distillery/gallery / whatever without a kitchen can invite a specific food truck vendor for their special events, to be parked in front of their building. Also allo...

Is 18th & Main (#6 in the document) the 1822 Main office project or is something else brewing on the NE or SW corners of that intersection?

'Tripple Crown' is being dismantled today. Anyone know where it is going? What is going in its place?
Maintenance, per @CrownCenter twitter handle. Sculpture should be back in place in a month or two.

Re: OFFICIAL - The Gallerie (27th & Gillham)

I want like 100 more of those built but I can't get myself to buy those. Feels too disconnected With adjacent lots to the south and west sold off to developers, 27th & main being marketed for office development, and the streetcar extension coming (hopefully), I don't think it will feel disconnected...

The two end/corner units are under contract. The remaining 7 units are still listed. Might see more movement after they are further along.

Because in 100 years when you're dead and all the buildings built today are still standing, individual automobile ownership will probably be a thing of the past. All the non-progressives (Nigro, DeJanes, Cashill, etc) are supporting Lucas because they think he is malleable and can be swayed to their point of view.

They are probably correct, which is a great reason to vote for Justus.
