Re: H&R Block's Second Tower?

Recently saw a promo video for a possible tower on this site (directly west of H&R block tower). Won't be a new tallest or anything, but would certainly be a nice/unique addition to our skyline. I don't know any additional details or likelihood of the project happening, hoping the video is released...

Kansas City Project Page

Hi. I have a ton of free time so I decided to share this webpage I built. It is still a work in progress but I want to share it with everyone. Simply put, this is a webpage where you can find renderings and their corresponding project name and story link. I only have 39 projects listed at this point...

Anything happening with this? I thought clearer renderings would've been posted by now. Either way, I like the building's design but something tells me this will be revised.

Same architects as the new KU Med tower.
CannonDeisgn has designed some nice looking buildings. Hopefully this one looks just as good but as I stated earlier on, the colored image showing Loews, Two Light and the New Hotel just looks meh.

Re: Big New STL Apartment Building

From the Business Journal... The partners behind a plan to transform the St. Louis Community College headquarters building into a $100 million apartment tower have walked away from the deal, prompting the community college to put the downtown St. Louis building back on the market for $7.5 million . ...

Re: Hotel Bravo- 17th and Wyandotte

The colored renderings look like absolute trash.(like Dreary In). However, the white renderings on the architects website actually look really nice. The hotel looks like the convention hotel from the east, the Center from the south, and somethinf complete unique from the west. I really hope the des...

Re: Hotel Bravo- 17th and Wyandotte

The building has enough setbacks to make it interesting. Hope to see more developed, color renderings sometime soon. I would love to see those facade materials be terracotta. I don't think that this will include any terracotta. Based on the story, Kevin Collison says, " The exterior would be mostly...

Re: Hotel Bravo- 17th and Wyandotte

Since the hotel envisions leaving half the parcel as a green field, do you think there is some sort of phase 2? Any ideas for why the empty field would be left and what it would/could be used for? I don't think there will be a Phase 2 of this hotel project. Maybe they are anticipating another devel...

Haven’t seen anything on this, but I’m sure all of you know. Kander is running so I will include his website link.

Re: Drury Plaza Hotel

As a St. Louisan who stays at Drury hotels whenever I travel (if they are available) this proposal bugs me. I've seen what they want to do on Laclede's Landing in St. Louis and this project in KC is depressing. Drury can do better. The City better pressure them into something better.

Re: Drury Plaza Hotel

The Parking Garage thing seems like a gimmick to get more subsidies but other than that, I hope it is designed well. I will wait to see the renderings of it. Hopefully it has some height like the one in Nashville or the recently announced Hyatt House on Broadway.

Based off of the massing study, the rendering in the EDCKC document form March is outdated. Figured since it says "preliminary" on it.

Looks like One Cardinal Way a lot now. The sloped roof will be translucent according to the massing study.

new on the development tracker - a proposed 12-13 story Hyatt Hotel on a current parking lot at 900 Broadway. https://i.imgur.com/s9CeEa7.jpg I like it. It will add density and help add to the street wall. The building also helps contrast historic buildings. However, only thing that bugs me about t...

Here are the other renderings that I promised. Re: Status and future of the River Market area??

They are ruining River market with all these new buildings. Parking down there is getting to be a night mare. I don't do too good with parallel parking so I have to drive around until I find something. And before any body says something about parking garages I do not park in them. As a lady I do no...

Re: OFFICIAL - Reverb (1800 Walnut)

I really and truly believe that sooner or later, Copaken is going to build on this entire block. The have Corrigan 1 and have 2 is being built then you have this. On a note regarding architecture, I like it and It has a more tamed feel of a Studio Gang project. As for the Crossroads "traditionalists...
